CSA International is accredited in the United States by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), and in Canada by the Standards Council of Canada.
In most jurisdictions in North America the CSA label on the G-TEC Pressure Booster is sufficient for approval building inspectors, fire marshals and similar authorities.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that all gas equipment be approved prior to iinstallation. G-TEC TB-15, TB-30 and TB-125 Torch Boosters have Approval # G3-0407-370; all other G-TEC Torch Boosters have Approval # G3-1007-117.

The New York City Fire Department and Department of Buildings Approve G-TEC Torch Boosters for Jewelry Manufacturing
The New York City Fire Department has given blanket Approval for G-TEC TB-15 and TB-30 Torch Boosters for installation in New York City. These systems have been assigned Certificate of Approval # 5120 - Read about the requirements for installing TB-15 and TB-30 Torch Boosters in New York City.
G-TEC TB-60, TB-125, TB-250 and TB-500 Torch Boosters are also Approved for installation in New York City but require a Site Specific Certificate or Approval. This means the Fire Department will want to inspect the location where the Torch Booster will be installed to see if any special conditions must be specified for safe operation. In January, 2002, after a wide ranging study of safety practices in the city jewelry district Los Angeles banned the use of acetylene and propane by jewelry manufacturers.
Because G-TEC Torch Boosters are Certified by CSA International they are welcomed and permitted to be installed in Los Angeles.
