TB-60 TB-125 Torch Boosters

TB-60 and TB-125 Torch Boosters raise gas pressure to 25 psi and provide flow at

either 60 cf/hr or 125 cf/hr. TB-60 is good for 1 or 2 cutting or brazing torches while

TB-125 is the right system for up to 4 cutting or brazing torches. These Torch

Boosters can be connected to a single torch, a shop manifold or cutting tables - they

are ideal for metal fabricators with oxy-fuel torches on a plasma cutting table.

Customers wanting to use natural gas on a Messer-MG cutting table with Alpha torches

should call G-TEC at 1-800-451-8294 to discuss their torch gas consumption

requirements.

Both systems are about the size of a window air conditioner and measure 20” wide

by 16” tall and 18” deep. TB-60 weighs 75 lbs,; TB-125 weighs 85 lbs. They can be

installed “anywhere” indoors without special site preparation. They are quiet and can

be placed right in your work area.

A Torch Booster is easy to use...just turn it on and get all the gas you need. When your torch is not lit the Torch Booster automatically goes into recirculation mode. They are designed to be left running for short periods when torches are not being used and do not require operator attention as torches are turned on and off.

The system includes a flexible 5’ hose for connection to the gas pipe and a shutoff valve. Customers may also purchase a regulator to set gas pressure between 1-25 psi.

TB-60 and TB-125 Torch Boosters are Certified by CSA International, CE Compliant and are permitted in buildings that prohibit gases in cylinders, such as acetylene and propane.

The gas pipe supplying these Torch Boosters should be at least 3/4” diameter for the TB-60 and 1” diameter for the TB-125. Supply pressure should be less than 1 psi but with a special order your Torch Booster can be modified to accept gas pressure as high as 5 psi.

Electrical requirements are 120 V 15 amp for TB-60 and 120 V 20 amp for TB-125. Both systems are available in a 230V 50Hz model.
