TB-250 Torch Booster

TB-250 and TB-500 Pressure Boosters are high volume, high pressure systems designed to supply natural gas at up to 45 psi with a flow rate of 300 cfh and 550 cfh from a 7”WC gas supply. Greater flow volumes are possible with higher supply gas pressure.  Both systems can be modified to boost pressure to 60 psi if higher pressure is required for duty cycles of 16 hours per day, or less. If pressure greater than 60 psi, up to 150 psi, is required select a Heavy Duty Torch Booster.

TB-250 and TB-500 Pressure Boosters are easy to use...just turn the system on and get all the gas you need. There is no internal storage and the system is ready for use as soon as it is turned on.

When you are not using gas the Pressure Booster automatically puts itself into recirculation mode. It is designed to be left running for short periods when gas is not being used and does not require operator attention once it has been started.

If you need high pressure natural gas for duty cycles running 24 hours then a Heavy Duty Pressure Booster is a better choice.

Both systems measure 28” W x 24” D x 20” T; TB-250 weighs 175 lbs. and TB-500 weighs 285 lbs. In North America electrical requirements are 208V, 60Hz, 30 amp single phase service; in Europe 230V, 50Hz, 30 amp single phase service. Gas supply should be between ¼ to 5 psi and delivered in a 1 1/2” pipe which hard piped to the Torch Booster.

An important advantage of a TB-250 or TB-500 Pressure Booster is that it can be installed right in the area where high pressure natural gas will be used. Just connect to a low pressure natural gas pipe already in your building and make high pressure natural gas readily available.

Many natural gas compressors must be installed outdoors with lengthy piping run through the building to bring high pressure gas service to the point where it is used. A G-TEC installation boosts gas pressure at the point of use - it is simpler and less expensive.

G-TEC systems also do not require special ventilation or other expensive site preparation to be installed in a normal working environment. TB-250 and TB-500 Pressure Boosters are quiet and will fit right into your workspace.

G-TEC Pressure Boosters connect to a low pressure natural gas pipe that is already in your building and boost pressure to 45 psi.

The system has 2 gas inlets, one if your building supply pressure is less than 1 psi and a second for utility natural gas pressure between 1-5 psi.

On the high pressure outlet many G-TEC users will install a regulator to set pressure between 1-45 psi or the system can be connected to a downstream process at the full output pressure of 45 psi.

There are separate gas inlets for supply of natural gas at <1 psi or between 1-5 psi

CSA International is accredited in the United States by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), and in Canada by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC).

Across North America the CSA label on the G-TEC Pressure Booster is sufficient for approval by building inspectors, fire marshals and other authorities.

G-TEC Pressure Boosters are even welcomed in buildings that prohibit fuel gases such as propane which are stored in cylinders or bulk tanks.
